Bihar Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana 2025-26 is a flagship scheme launched by the Government of Bihar to promote self-employment and encourage young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. Under this scheme, eligible applicants can receive financial assistance up to ₹10 lakh to establish new industries or small businesses. Out of the total amount, ₹5 lakh is provided as a government subsidy (grant), which does not need to be repaid, while the remaining ₹5 lakh is given as an easy loan. Special categories such as women, SC, ST, and EBC candidates get loans at zero percent interest, making it highly beneficial for new entrepreneurs.

The scheme is open to permanent residents of Bihar aged between 18 and 50 years who have passed at least Intermediate (12th), ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification. Applicants must start a new business and should not have previously benefited from this scheme. The selection process is conducted through an online application followed by computerized random selection, document verification, entrepreneurship training, and financial assistance distribution.

The main objective of this scheme is to reduce unemployment and motivate youth to become job creators instead of job seekers. Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal within the prescribed application dates.
